What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number, the service you selected, and anything you write in the message field. We also record the page you submitted from and the date and time.

Information collected automatically. When you submit the form we record your browser's user-agent string, the country your request came from, and your IP address. This is used to identify and block automated spam submissions.

Analytics. On our live website we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people find useful. It sets cookies and collects usage data as described in Google's privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Enquiry counts. Our website provider, PixelKraft, counts how many enquiries the site produces — clicks on our phone number, text and email links, directions links, and completed contact forms — along with the page it happened on. It sets no cookies and does not record what you type into the form.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, quote your project and schedule your test.
To keep a record of enquiries so nothing is lost or answered twice.
To detect and block spam submissions.
To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not add you to a marketing list unless you specifically ask us to.

Who we share it with

Form submissions are stored on Cloudflare Workers KV and sent to us by email through Brevo, our transactional email provider. Website analytics are processed by Google, and enquiry counts by PixelKraft. These providers process the data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not share your information with anyone else except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we may reasonably need them for the job, our records and any warranty period — and no longer than seven years. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@expressducttest.com or call (916) 289-1211 and we will respond within 30 days. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion; we honour these requests through the same contact details.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own. The only cookies used are those set by Google Analytics on the live site, and only for the purposes described above. Blocking cookies in your browser will not stop you using any part of this site, including the contact form.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Form submissions are transmitted encrypted and stored encrypted at rest. Access to enquiry records is restricted to Express Duct Test staff.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
